A journey alongside the legendary Drizzt heralds the arrival of Neverwinter Xbox optimization.
Neverwinter Xbox Series X|S Optimization Arrives with its 25th Module
The latest module, Menzoberranzan, is set to bring an epic conclusion to the two-part storyline that began with the previous module, Northdark Reaches. The titular Menzoberranzan is most famous for being the underground hometown of Drizzt Do'Urden, the drow ranger hero of the North that featured in both DnD's Forgotten Realms campaign setting and Salvatore's Icewind Dale Trilogy. While the setting of this particular module has players experience the events that occurred between the final two books within that trilogy.
New content will include the new Menzoberranzan Adventure Zone, which will see players attempting to avoid drow patrols and assassins during their attempts to stave off a civil war. New quests, familiar faces from DnD lore, and epic rewards also await in this legendary region of the Underdark.
Particularly fearless players can also get stuck into Neverwinter's 10th anniversary celebration event - which involves slaying beholder god, Gzemnid. Classic birthday fun. Gzemnid awaits those brave enough to take on a beholder god after taking physical form in his reliquary and lying in wait.
This trial also brings some quality of life improvements, including balancing updates to companions, Insignia-specific updates to the mount system, and new rewards for all appointment store events.
Finally, great news for Xbox players as Neverwinter Xbox optimization has arrived for the latest generation of consoles. This means that Neverwinter will now run natively for Xbox Series X|S, with a hefty FPS boost and auto HDR support, cross-gen multiplayer support, and Smart Delivery support that automatically delivers the optimized Neverwinter to your Xbox Series X|S consoles.
Menzoberranzan, Neverwinter's 25th module, is set to land on all platforms on March 28th.
