The Castle Doctrine

The Castle Doctrine is a massively-multiplayer game of burglary and strategic home defense for PC, Linux, and Mac with a very unique gameplay focus; you must keep intruders out of your home! It’s 1991, and things are bad. You’re a guy with a wife, two kids, and a house. You’re nearly broke, but you know that they’ll be coming soon for what you’ve got left, hundreds of them. You must spend what you have to secure what’s yours. But every wall can be cut through, and every window can be broken, so you’ll have to be smarter than that. With doors, wires, switches, and dogs – building something perplexing is easy. The mission of the game is to rebuild your house in this way that the vault is protected and the family is survived.

The Castle Doctrine Key Features

Strategic Thinking – this awesome feature gives you an opportunity to think strategically. Your Vault is full of money and of course someone wants to steal it. You have to spend this money on order to build defenses to protect your belongings.

Gaining More Money – Once the player feels secure about the vault, you can go through the house and try to gain more money by stealing them from the neighbors. Be careful; there are no good guys and there is no redemption!

Very Real Stakes – Everything is real in this game. When you rob someone, you are actually hurting another player in a permanent way by destroying and stealing their hard work. When someone dies in this game, they lose everything and start over. If you devise perplexing security systems, you can perma-kill other players when they come to rob you!
