There's new Crowfall art assets to take a look at, and if you're a fan of either the Half-Elf or Nethari race of the game, then this new dev post is for you. It's full of pretty pictures and technical details for those who like to know the deeper details of character design.
The post goes over the lore of each of the two featured races, including a little background on what inspired the look of each one, from Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones for Half-Elves to the female counterparts on the part of the Nethari.
The update also goes over how the outfits are being implemented into the game. For the Nethari and Half-Elves, they share a master rig to handle body animations for class skills among them and the Human race, which means it'll take less space in the game's files overall. Of course, the races will have unique customization options too, like hairstyles, eyes and glowing runic tattoos.
Work on additional customization and other genders for the game's races are in the works, but you can take in all the work done so far on Crowfall's website.
Our Thoughts
The Nethari look pretty outstanding. Sure, the Half-Elves are nice-looking too, but there's something to be said about the regal look of the Nethari gear. Which do you prefer? Share your impressions with us in the comments.
