NGames has announced the first beta test for its First Person Shooter Global Strike. Players are invited to join the first beta test which will begin today, February 5, 2015. Global Strike is the first non-plugin 3D FPS browser game on the market. By simply opening a browser, players can immediately play without any sort of download. The game utilizes a self-optimizing engine with non-client technology, allowing the game to run at 60 frames per second. Global Strike features a variety of game modes including deathmatch, team deathmatch and mutation.
The open beta also brings several new features to the game. Players can now practice against AI targets to help them prepare and practice their skills. The difficulty is scalable and allows players to match themselves with computer opponents of similar skill level.
