Ship of Heroes is a highly-anticipated MMO that combines the indomitable superhero genre with sci-fi, offering players the chance to live out the ultimate nerdy fantasy. As the devs publish a steady stream of content surrounding mission creation, this latest Ship of Heroes mission video that follows Super Santa and his cronies as they go about recovering some stolen presents sets the bar for the kind of festive content players can expect from this intriguing title. And it’s pretty high.

The mission takes place on the alien planet known as the Snow Lair, in what seems to be a retaliation to the great snow monster invasion of Apotheosis City in 2018. While the terrifying monsters, superpowers and the combat are all familiar sights to those who have been following the development of SoH - the planet, mission and even the tracks in the snow are exciting new features on display in this seasonal clip.
The Snow Lair has arrived amid a whole host of new locations revealed in 2020 including engineering tunnel spaces, more alien worlds and magically-themed dungeons, all of which edges us ever-closer to a suspected 2021 release date.
The next newsletter in the pipeline is expected to contain a milestone release schedule for the first half of 2021 and will hopefully give us more of an idea of when we can get our hands on the game. There is also a major community event in the works for early 2021, focussing on giving community members the chance to play and offer feedback on instanced mission content.
