Greatswords, caravans, PvP, and rock monsters! The V Rising improvements Stunlock plans to introduce for final release.
All the V Rising Improvements Planned for Final Release
Given V Rising's astronomical popularity, you could be forgiven for forgetting that we are only in the early access stage of the vampire survival phenomenon. With 2.5 million players breaking all expectations, it's no surprise that Stunlock Studios are resolute in delivering a final product worthy of their rise to fame.
This was the sentiment in a recently published dev blog, which laid out some of the potential V Rising improvements Stunlock are aiming to implement before release. And it's safe to say the future is looking decidedly bright for a game that's all about chasing the darkness.
Here are some of the potential V Rising improvements that have us chomping at the bit. Or should that be neck?
Castles
=======
Though it is only an ambition at this stage, Stunlock is hoping to introduce multiple floors to vampires' base of operations, helping architects to create a "labyrinthian citadel" to explore. They are also hoping to enhance the capabilities of servants in more creative ways.
Biomes
======
Stunlock is already working on a brand new biome to further expand the V Rising world and the opportunities within it. Expect all-new enemies, experiences and secrets for the final release, as well as sweeping improvements for existing ones.
Weapons & Abilities
===================
The two-handed greatsword was already unveiled as part of the new V Rising arsenal. But further death-dealing tools and abilities are also in the pipeline, including weapon customization and augmentation.
PvE & PvP
=========
New beasties are also in the pipeline, with the dev blog unveiling such concepts as loot-filled caravans, winged abominations and animated piles of rocks hellbent on turning us into pancakes.
The PvP changes, meanwhile, will focus on improving raids to ensure they are "more robust and satisfying" as well as fleshing out Castle Territory and squashing PvP exploits.
General changes such as improved sound and fleshed-out gathering and crafting are also due to join the next big update.
All we know is that with all the future V Rising improvements on the horizon, it might soon be prudent of us to update our already glowing V Rising review of the early access. For hints and tips on V Rising in its current state, check out our handy guide.
