Plus a new, high-tech advanced class and a cutesy Pet Ranch to balance out the horror.
Kakul-Saydon: The Horror-Filled Legion Raid Coming to Lost Ark
They say that good things come in small packages, which is why Lost Ark has decided to update its updates and make them fun-size. Through August and September, players can expect a series of small but focused updates in lieu of one big one. The first is coming up in August - and it brings just a smidge of new content.
Perhaps the most exciting addition to come with the Lost Ark August content update is the Pet Ranch. This haven will allow players to recover their pet's morale, manage pet functions and earn Jelly Cookies (this is Lost Ark, it's best not to question the logic) which can be exchanged for lucrative rewards. To unlock the Pet Ranch, players must first unlock the farm, the cave and, of course, own a pet.
Meanwhile, the ongoing Maharaka festival will now be playing host to a new activity that will see players collecting as many leaves as they can from the Maharaka Tree, which can then be exchanged for mounts, animal skins, and more.
Following the Lost Ark August content update, September will be bringing two more. The first will include QoL updates and back-end fixes, which will include improvements to social features, customization, combat, and settings.
But the real pièce de résistance comes with the third and final update due later in September. This will unveil the new advanced class, the Machinist, which brings a high-tech arsenal of guns, lasers, and drones to the battlefield while clad in a futuristic suit. It's basically a ninja Iron Man and a big contender for coolest Class.
And finally, the second half of the September update will introduce the highly anticipated Kakul-Saydon Legion Raid, the third, and undoubtedly most terrifying Legion Raid to date. Kakul-Saydon is also the first four-player Legion Raid, with three gates and the customary collection of new characteristics, abilities, and mechanics.
We're certain that the haunting Kakul-Saydon will bring a whole new level of difficulty to Arkesia - but our best advice is to kill it with fire. Lots and lots of fire.
