“Witcher x Lost Ark” will see one of gaming’s most beloved franchises visit the whimsical world of Arkesia.
The Witcher x Lost Ark Crossover is Finally Here
The magical crossover event we've all been waiting for has arrived with the The Witcher x Lost Ark update. Proving once more that anything is possible in the world of Arkesia.
The Witcher is one of those rare games that has struck the right chord with the vast majority of the gaming community. Meaning that a sizable portion of Lost Ark players will be hyped to see some of the franchise's most beloved characters popping up in-game. These will include Dandelion, Triss, Yennefer, Ciri, and, of course, Geralt himself, each inviting players to help them with a series of Story and Daily Quests.
Throughout the event, players can earn Witcher Potions, two Jukebox songs, a new Card Set featuring five Witcher Characters, a Stronghold structure, Emoticons & Selfie Stickers, and a Title.
But despite The Witcher x Lost Ark crossover being the headline event, it comes with a satisfying smattering of extra updates. Most of which seem to have excited the Lost Ark playerbase more than Geralt's arrival, it would seem.
For instance, Pheon requirements have been significantly reduced for Tier 3 Accessories, and completely scrapped for Tier 1 and 2 Equipment and Amulets, as well as Tier 2 Ability Stones. Berserkers are also happy to see the addition of a katana (or, more accurately, a hwando) skin. Because, let's face it, they're the coolest kind of sword.
Guild updates will also see the arrival of a gold deposit system, three new guild research options, and three new guild skills. Improvements have also been made to Quests and Una's Tasks, including a feature that applies the last filter used when viewing Daily and Weekly quests in Una's Tasks' UI.
Then there are, of course, new arrivals in the store. Witcher hairstyles and Geralt-themed gear are now available alongside a catalog of other garments including the "New Year's Wish" line. More important than both of those, however, is the new and adorable Baby Calf Pet.
Those that wish to get their Witcher fix ought to do so sharpish, as the event will only be running until February 22nd.
