A Witcher Lost Ark crossover, a new Lost Ark Aeromancer class, and more revealed at Smilegate's LOA ON Summer event.
Introducing the Witcher Lost Ark Crossover
This weekend saw Lost Ark developer, Smilegate, unveil some pretty big things in the works for the wacky ARPG. And it's only a matter of time before we can all enjoy the Witcher Lost Ark crossover we never knew we needed.
The Witcher Lost Ark crossover was announced as part of Smilegate's LOA ON Summer event. The event was essentially a showcase for a bunch of changes coming to Lost Ark, which included smaller updates such as an improved selfie mode, class balances and an improved Tripod system.
But while the Witcher news was easily one of the most exciting, we were woefully deprived of any more information, other than it will hit Korean servers in winter of this year. Of course, that doesn't mean that a global audience will receive it at the same time. In fact, we are more than likely going to have to wait until next year to enjoy it.
But speculation over the nature of the collaboration has already begun ramping up, with some suggesting that one of the Witcher's famous monsters will be added as a special raid, while others theorize that we might even receive a playable Geralt. Though that might make things a little awkward with Geralt lookalike Madnick.
As players continue to ponder the details, however, another big reveal came in the form of an all new class. The Aeromancer is a new 'synergy damage' class that wields the awesome powers of nature and her parasol to unleash dazzling AoE attacks in the form of inclement weather. The Aeromancer class will join Korean servers on 6th July.
That's not all that was unveiled at the LOA ON Summer event - and luckily for us, one kindly Redditor has taken the time to translate and summarize everything else mentioned. So be sure to check out all the rest of the details over on Reddit.
