Though it’s easier to find Minecraft inspiration in some games than others. Meow!

Ever find yourself playing another game and thinking 'this would make a great Minecraft build'? Minecraft inspiration is everywhere for the especially creative. Though it's safe to say that some games are better than others for getting those creative juices flowing.

Such is the case with Stray, the cat adventure game from BlueTwelveStudio that took the gaming community by storm back in June, gaining universal acclaim for its stunning cyberpunk setting as seen from the perspective of an adorable ginger cat.

Within it, players are tasked with navigating a neon-soaked, walled-off city populated by sentient robots and rife with sections that beg to be explored, each one adding to the intriguing post-apocalyptic lore simply by existing. One such location was the docks. And it was here that one creative Redditor found their latest source of Minecraft inspiration.

Posting on the Minecraft Subreddit, user Junopii's rendition of "some docks, inspired by the game "Stray"" was met with rampant kudos from the Minecraft community, especially those familiar with the source material. And deservedly so.

The built-up waterside structures are replete with platforms from which the feline protagonist can leap and climb, while a pier juts into the water beside an inventively crafted life preserver. A large stone archway also leads to a dingy interior that includes a service counter, stools and little cactus. Did we mention that this was all created in vanilla?

The pièce de résistance, however, is the inclusion of three feline friends in the final image, including a ginger tabby reminiscent of the Stray protagonist.

With many of the comments clamoring for more (something we're inclined to agree with), we're left wondering if a full recreation of the beautiful Stray is on the cards. Thankfully, according to Junopii, they had so much fun that more Stray-inspired Minecraft builds could be en route. So watch this space.
