World of Warships is getting new unique in-game content inspired by the naval-themed sci-fi anime Arpeggio of Blue Steel -Ars Nova-. A new mode is set to arrive to the game very soon, and it brings with it several special missions, skins for vessels styled on the anime, and much more!
The series of missions will offer players great rewards modeled after the high-tech reincarnations of warships featured in Arpeggio of Blue Steel. Take the helm of Kongo-class battleships from the series, as well as other vessels that will be added in the future. These unique vessels feature Mental Models (humanoid AI avatars) from the show as their commander. The voice actress of the main heroine from the anime, Iona, has been recruited to lend her talent to the popular Wargaming title as well to call out battle actions.
Last but definitely not least; players of World of Warships will be able to select a special Arpeggio of Blue Steel-themed port to dock their Blue Steel fleet. Are you excited about Arpeggio of Blue Steel -Ars Nova- coming to World of Warships? Let us know in the comments below!

Our Thoughts
We must admit we are rather surprised that an anime has partnered up with something as serious as a warfare game, but in this case it oddly makes quite a bit of sense. We're excited to learn more about these new vessels for World of Warships, and we can't wait to see the Mental Models in action.
