The MapleStory M Summer update has brought new stories, classes and events to get stuck into.
The MapleStory M Summer Update Part 2 Introduces “Kinesis”
The mobile port of MapleStory - MapleStory M - is celebrating its fourth anniversary this summer. Naturally, this calls for a MapleStory M summer update, which has arrived in two parts - because a big event like this calls for ample celebration.
The first part of the update introduced a hefty new Storyline and Commander Boss Lotus back in June. And the second part of the MapleStory summer update will now bring a new playable character class: Kinesis (who, unsurprisingly, wields psychic powers). It also brings the usual bevy of events to properly celebrate a birthday.
Kinesis is a noble psychic magician who wields his unique telekinetic powers to fight for the protection of Maple World’s citizens. He is available for all players to play with as of right now.
New players, meanwhile, will find that the new player experience has been enriched as part of the MapleStory M summer update. Content has been added to help fresh players beeline for the endgame levels, allowing them to jump into the dynamic aspects of the title much sooner than before.
The following events will also be available to Maplers throughout the rest of the summer:
MapleStory and MapleStory M account link: Complete daily missions in MapleStory to earn daily rewards in MapleStory M. MTour (July 28 - September 8): Myriad minigames to entertain mobile Maplers await throughout the city. Kinesis On-Time Event (July 28 - August 4): Limited-time pets and auto-battle charge tickets will be delivered to players who log in during this event. Kinesis Growth Mission Event (July 28 - August 31): Earn rewards by levelling up Kinesis to level milestones and completing certain missions. Kinesis Mega Burning Event (July 28 - August 31): Newly created characters may earn an additional two levels every time they rank up. 7-Day Mission Attendance Event (August 11 - September 9): Claim rewards by clearing five daily missions for seven days during this one-month period.
