A new World Event is now taking place in Sea of Thieves and there are even more new features.
Update with "The Skull of Siren Song" is live
The tenth season of Sea of Thieves will feature three major new content segments. Guilds have already been integrated into the pirate game at the start of the season. Now, in mid-November, the second package will follow. From now on, there will be another activity in Sea of Thieves with "The Skull of Siren Song" voyage. However, the whole thing is a dangerous adventure, as other players will also set off in search of the skull. We explain exactly how this works here.
As announced, developer Rare has also made balancing adjustments to the guilds. From now on, your guild will receive more experience when you bring treasures to a faction and redeem them. In contrast, the guild experience you can gain from hourglass battles has been reduced.
With the October update, the developers have prevented fast switching between two firearms. However, this also led to delays when using weapons normally. This should now be fixed with the latest update. In addition, the design of the hit detection has been changed so that it is now easier to see which direction the attack came from and whether an enemy has really died.
Of course, there are also new goods in the pirate emporium and the obligatory free emote. But there are also new goods in the other stores of each outpost. The update is rounded off with various bug fixes and numerous new translations.
