200-Player PvP Arrives to Lineage 2: Revolution

Taking down a castle is a big operation. You need lots of manpower and siege weapons and people who aren’t afraid to be attacked by folks who don’t want their castle taken over. Luckily, the majority of the logistics and all of the personal injury are taken care of in Lineage 2: Revolution Castle Siege mode, which is arriving to the mobile MMORPG today.

In Castle Siege, up to four clans – one defending and three attacking – do battle in a 200-player PvP assault to imprint the opponent’s Holy Artifact. Castle Siege pre-season is officially underway today, which will also mark the beginning of the Castle Siege Festival that grants increased XP rewards.

In addition to the new large-scale PvP mode, the newest update to Lineage 2: Revolution adds the new Oren Territory, new difficulty levels for several dungeons, new Grade UR equipment, a max level extension from level 180 to 260, and some new servers. There are also a number of in-game events happening as well.

You can check out some in-game footage of a Castle Siege in action in the video embedded below.

Our Thoughts

Castle Siege looks like probably one of the most bonkers PvP modes in MMO gaming overall, let alone mobile MMO gaming. We’re hoping that clans that take part in this content enjoy the fights and that everyone has a great time in this latest update.
