It’s the moment all you dinosaur loving Xbox One players have been waiting for, as ARK: Survival Evolved becomes part of the Xbox Game Preview program next week. On December 16th, the game will be made available on Xbox Game Preview for $35. Will you be buying it?
Studio Wildcard, the development studio behind ARK: Survival Evolved, told IGN that the Xbox One version will have the same features as the PC one, but won’t be updated as regularly as the PC version. Don’t get all panicked just yet though, because Wildcard promised to release udpates no further than two weeks apart, to try and keep parity across all versions as much as possible.
If you’re looking to play the game in the future but are uncertain about playing it in its early stage, then you might still want to buy it now, as the final release of the game will cost more than $35. If you get in now you won’t have to pay any extra though, so it’s rather inviting. All Game Preview purchases will also get a skin pack with an unlockable bionic T-Rex skin, an ARK Founder’s Hat skin, and an ARK Founder’s Trophy. The final versions will be made available on both PC and consoles in June of 2016. You can view the Xbox One gameplay trailer below.
PC players can’t be the only ones who get to enjoy this beautiful survival game, so we’re happy to hear that Xbox One users can now enjoy the fun of ARK: Survival Evolved as well.
