CCP Reports $21 Million Loss in 2013

Just one day after announcing that the World of Darkness MMO had been canceled it has been revealed that the developers, CCP had a $21 million loss in the 2013 fiscal year. This is a considerable drop when you consider that in 2012 they reported a profit of $4.6 million. What is the reason behind the sudden loss? Significant amounts have been poured into research and development for EVE, Dust 514, and of course World of Darkness. Then there is added to that the empty hole that WoD leaves behind.
