The Division

The Division Public Test Server is Now Open

After a previously announced delay, The Division Public Test Server is once more open and allowing players of the shooter to test out Update 1.4.

Update 1.4’s testing period will have a specific focus this week on the new progression between World Tiers. As a result, players won’t be able to transfer existing characters to the PTS, but instead will be given a fresh level 30 character to test the new content. The post also notes that the PTR is “considered as a new game” and carries a 45GB download.

Information on how to install the PTR and other details can be seen on the official site.

Our Thoughts

Many would seem to agree that The Division is in need of an overhaul, so we truly hope that Update 1.4 is the boost the game needs in order to make current players happy and perhaps court new ones. After all of the delays to Update 1.4 and the launch of PTR, we still have to wonder if it’s too little, too late.

Your Thoughts
