The sun-beaten expanse of the desert now fits into your pocket. The PUBG Mobile Miramar map is now added to the pocket edition of the battle royale shooter, along with a number of features intended to improve social play and optimization.
Miramar is pretty much the same dusty map as PC players of PUBG are familiar with, including all of the open land and city locations one expects for long-distance and close-quarters engagements respectively and a land area that’s 50% larger than the Erangel map. The Miramar map also brings on some new weapons and vehicles to the game.
In addition to the new map, this update has also added a local team feature that lets players who are near each other enter a six-digit code to team up, as well as a number of improvements to the game’s sounds, special effects, climbing and parachuting in the interests of optimization.
PUBG Mobile’s latest update is now available. A video with one of the game’s devs detailing what’s new can be seen below.
Whether Miramar is a popular choice or not, it’s good to have options and see new things arriving to PUBG Mobile. We hope that those who play this shooter on their mobile devices find this latest update to their liking.
