TERA Europe’s First Closed Beta Begins This Weekend

TERA Online (Europe) recently was forced to cancel its sneak peek event, which upset a lot of fans. Many were pleased though as the chance arose to participate in a series of tests to help Frogster fix the issues that caused the cancellation in the first place. With more than enough testing having been performed, Frogster is finally moving forward as scheduled. The first of a series of closed beta tests is set to start tomorrow.

From February 17th to the 19th, the servers will go live from 3PM (CEST) to midnight each day. The level cap will remain at level 22 although this time around players will be offered two character slots and the choice of a PvP server. An outlaw mission will be offered in the town of Velika for all those fearless adventurers. If you worried about the regular wipes, fear not because there won’t be another wipe until after the five planned closed betas.

As a subscription-based MMO, Ubisoft will be handling the retail distribution in Europe will Frogster will handle digital distribution.
