The Division Update 1.4 Gets a Release Date

It’s been a long time coming for the series, but at long last a release date has been revealed for The Division update 1.4.

Update 1.4 will bring a huge swath of improvements and new content to The Division, including World Tiers that lets players control the strength of enemies they encounter and the level of gear they drop. The new update also touts improved time-to-kill for encounters, improved enemy AI, improvements to aggro management, improvements to loot drops and rewards, and the return of Roamer NPCs which will respawn every four hours.

Update 1.4 is set to go live globally on all platforms on October 25th. The most recent patch notes can be seen here.

Our Thoughts

From all accounts, Update 1.4 is the patch that will make or break The Division. It sounds like the team have confronted the majority of player complaints head-on with this update, but only time will tell. We hope that players will be pleased with the new improvements.
