The WoW Token is now live in World of Warcraft on the North American servers. Now you can purchase a month’s worth of game time for the low low cost of 30,000 in game gold through a special version of the World of Warcraft Auction House. You better act fast though, as supplies are limited. More specifically, there will only be WoW Tokens up for sale if people buy them to sell, and with each one costing $20 — that’s $5 more than 1 month of World of Warcraft game subscription time — they might well sell faster than they can be supplied.
With the in game cost of the WoW Token set to fluctuate based on the market, demand is most definitely high. However, players will only be able to purchase 10 Tokens in game within a month, so do bear this in mind if you plan to stock up on game time. The Tokens will also be soulbound once bought from the Auction House, though can be kept indefinitely until you choose to use them. An interesting point for players with inactive World of Warcraft accounts is that you can purchase game time with gold from the character select screen if you have the right amount of gold available.
