Gamasutra has an interesting article today about the
operator of World of Warcraft in China, a company called NetEase (there’s an oxymoron eh?)
"Easy for the internet", their biggest project: Operating the World’s largest MMORPG – doesn’t seem to be going very well.
may have read that last year the Operation of WoW in China was shut down by the Government, citing "gross violations" of regulations.
follow up story tells about the aftermath and hopefully gives Chinese WoW gamers something hopeful to look forward to with the game coming back online.
