Crowdfunding for Corey Gaspur’s Son Raises $32k

After the very sad news of Anthem’s lead designer Corey Gaspur’s death, we’re pleased to report a bit of a bright spot. A Gaspur family crowdfunding page for Gaspur’s son has been opened up and its already hit the $32k mark.

According to the YouCaring page, the fund is being put together in order to secure future education for Cain Gaspur, who will turn four this coming August 15th. “We have set up this fund in hopes that his friends and family will donate what they can during this difficult time,” reads the post.

As of this writing, over 200 donors, most of whom appear to be past and present colleagues and friends, have helped to raise over $32k of the asked funding goal of $38k.

Our Thoughts

While the circumstances for this funding drive are obviously devastating, we’re proud to report that this has drawn in so much support for the Gaspur family. We once again offer our condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Gaspur and hope that young Cain will have a bright future in whatever field he chooses to pursue.
