Rocket League Championship Series Streaming August 6 and 7

Psyonix and Twitch have announced a broadcast for the Rocket League Championship Series this coming weekend, August 6th and 7th.


The Rocket League Championship Series will host its Season 1 International Finals at the Avalon Hollywood in Los Angeles, CA starting Saturday, August 6th at 10am PST. Four teams from the US and four teams from the EU will be squaring off for a $55k cash pool over the course of the tournament, including Exodus, The Flying Dutchman and Flipsid3.

Saturday will host four matches starting at around 10:15am PST, with resulting matches running from 2pm to 7pm. Sunday will be the Finals with the first matches kicking off at 10:15am and the Grand Finals at 4pm. The announcement also mentioned that Psynoix would offer a “special world premiere announcement” at around 12pm PST.

Those who are interested in the International Finals are invited to check the Rocket League Twitch channel.

Our Thoughts

Rocket League makes for some pretty compelling eSports viewing, and we’re looking forward to this tournament. We’re also very curious about what this announcement being teased is all about. Perhaps we’ll learn details about those “much-wanted changes” we had heard about?
